Used for coloring industrial buildings, automotive coatings, printing inks, PVC plastics, etc.
Pigment Red 179 is the most industrially valuable pigment variety in the perylene red series. It gives a bright red color and is mainly used for automotive primers (OEM) and repair paints. It is used in combination with other inorganic / organic pigments to extend the quinacridone color Yellow light red area. The pigment has excellent light fastness, weather fastness, even better than the substituted quinacridones, heat stability up to 180-200 ℃, good solvent resistance and good varnish performance.
